Founded in 1846, the Associated Press (AP) is an American nonprofit news agency. It provides global news and has news outlets and correspondents all over the world. The AP is "committed to the highest standards of objective, accurate journalism" and has won 54 Pulitzer Prizes.

A division of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). The BBC was founded in the 1920's and began as a radio station. BBC News is now one of the world's largest broadcast news organizations and has news bureaus and correspondents all over the world.

A non-profit media organization based in Washington, D.C. It Covers U.S. and World news. NPR began in 1970 as a result of a congressional act that established the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which then created the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) for television and NPR.

Reuters, the news and media division of Thomson Reuters, is the world’s largest multimedia news provider, reaching billions of people worldwide every day. Reuters provides business, financial, national and international news to professionals via desktop terminals, the world's media organizations, industry events and directly to consumers.
