EZProxy is invisible software that allows students, faculty, and staff to access digital library materials from off-campus--from home, while traveling, or at the local coffee shop.
Like all technology, it is constantly evolving. Our current version of EZProxy is no longer supported, and to ensure it continues to work reliably, we have to move to a more current version.
The DACC Library and DACC IT are working on the migration now. We will retire our old, local EZProxy after Spring Finals, Tuesday, May 13th, 2025.
Essentially, all library links with this prefix, http://EZproxy.dacc-ad.nmsu.edu:2048/login?url= will no longer work after May 13th, of 2025. The library will update all of the links on the library website, however, if you have any links to digital library ebooks, articles, or streaming videos with that prefix in Canvas or elsewhere, you will need to update your links to include our new EZProxy prefix https://login.daccnmsu.idm.oclc.org/login?url=
The good news, is we have made that as easy as possible. You can simply contact the library for a new link, or use the link create tool on the next page of this guide.
After May 13th, 2025 please check all of your links to library content--books, ebooks, articles, journals, and streaming media in Canvas or any other platform you use for teaching. If those links don't work, contact the DACC Library or use the tool on the next page of this guide to update those links.
